Overview
The Juno Tab 4 is a 13-inch tablet PC from Juno Computers, a small British maker of Linux computers. It comes with Debian (including the touch-friendly Phosh and Plasma Mobile), Ubuntu or Kubuntu 26.04 LTS, plus a backlit keyboard cover and a pen. Announced in June 2026, it was still on pre-order in October 2026: production started on July 16, and Juno ships about 90 to 100 days after the pre-order campaign ends (Juno Computers). There is no independent review yet; Liliputing, 9to5Linux and ComputerBase only reported the launch, so the figures below come from Juno.
The touchscreen has the same diagonal as the 13-inch iPad Pro but about 6% less area, because its 16:10 format, a wide format made for videos, is less tall than the iPad’s 4:3. With 2560 × 1600 pixels (232 ppi), the image is sharp; Juno gives 500 nits and 60 Hz. The Intel Core Ultra 5 115U is a 15-watt laptop processor cooled by two fans, with 16 GB of RAM and a removable 1 TB SSD: roughly the speed of a mid-range thin laptop, enough for office work, web browsing and 4K video. It runs desktop Linux programs, not Android apps (no Google Play); updates come from Debian and Ubuntu.
The pen has 4,096 pressure levels, and the magnetic keyboard is sold with a US International (ANSI) layout only. Juno rates the 42.71 Wh battery at about 5.5 hours of average use, which is short for a tablet. It weighs 850 g, or 1.23 kg with the keyboard. It has two USB-C 3.1 ports (charging and video output up to 4K at 60 Hz), a full-size USB-A 3.0 port, Wi-Fi 6, two speakers and 5 MP cameras on both sides, but no cellular modem. It costs $989 in Juno’s US and Canada store and £949 including VAT in its UK and Europe store (about €1,100, according to ComputerBase).

- Pre-order only (dispatch 90–100 days after pre-orders close)
- Short battery life (about 5.5 hours, Juno)
- US keyboard layout only
- No Android apps or Google Play
Performance

The Juno Tab 4 is powered by the relatively old Intel Core Ultra 5 115U processor, released in 2023 and built on a 7 nm process. It is a fast chip: demanding games, large drawings and video editing run smoothly. Compared with other large tablets:
- The Apple M5 in the Apple iPad Pro 13″ (M5) is about twice as fast.
- The Intel Core Ultra 7 164U in the Dell Latitude 7350 Detachable is about 10 % faster.
- The Juno Tab 4 is about 4 times faster than the Meswao MES-B3 (Pro) and its MediaTek Helio G99.
Brightness

The screen of the Juno Tab 4 reaches 500 nits according to Juno, which is enough indoors, but not for outdoor use in the summer (600 nits is the minimum).
