Overview
The vivo Pad6 Pro is vivo’s 13.2-inch flagship tablet, launched in March 2026 for creative and office work. The available reviews are all Chinese, and none measured brightness or battery life. IT Home calls it a flagship “with sincere specs in every area”; Chaping finds it much more interesting than the Pad5 Pro, but not cheap.
The screen has almost the same area as the 13-inch iPad Pro. Its format, close to 3:2, is taller than the usual 16:10 and suits documents and sheet music. With 3840 × 2512 pixels (347 ppi), it is one of the sharpest large tablet screens. It runs at up to 144 Hz, uses flicker-free DC dimming and reaches 1,200 nits only in sunlight or HDR (vivo). This glossy LCD has grayish blacks (Chaping, PingWest), and Chaping finds almost no anti-reflective coating.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is one of the fastest chips of 2026 and stays cool in games (IT Home: at most 35 °C). It has 8 to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage, without microSD. The Chinese OriginOS 6 (Android 16) offers PC-style WPS Office and CapCut and a five-window desktop mode (12 GB models only). It has no Google services and no update policy; Widevine L1 (HD on Netflix) is not confirmed.
The Smart Touch Keyboard 6 Pro with touchpad (¥699) and the Pencil3 cost extra. vivo rates the 13,000 mAh battery at 12.6 hours of office work; a full 66 W charge took 83 minutes (IT Home). At 663 g and 6.18 mm it is light for its size, but too large to hold for games (Chaping, ifanr). It has eight speakers and USB-C 3.2, but no headphone jack or cellular version.
vivo lists it at ¥4,499 (8/256 GB, about €570) to ¥6,699 (16/512 GB). The iQOO Pad6 Pro (May 2026) is the same tablet in other colors. Both are sold only in China (vivo).

Performance

The vivo Pad6 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, released in 2025 and built on a 3 nm process. It is one of the fastest chips in any tablet: it handles everything, including heavy video editing, 3D work and the most demanding games. The same chip is used in the OnePlus Pad 4. Compared with other large tablets:
- The Apple M5 in the Apple iPad Pro 13″ (M5) is about 40 % faster.
- The Xiaomi XRING O3 in the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max is about 10 % faster.
- The vivo Pad6 Pro is about 20 % faster than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and its MediaTek Dimensity 9400+.
Brightness

The screen of the vivo Pad6 Pro reaches 1,200 nits at its peak (HDR content only), which is very bright: the screen stays readable outdoors, even in direct sunlight.
