Overview
The Honor MagicPad 13 is a 13-inch Android tablet for videos, music and light office work. Honor launched it in China in July 2023 and never sold it in other countries; its newer 13-inch-class model is the 13.3-inch MagicPad3. No independent review with measurements was available for this summary (October 2026), so the details below come from Honor and launch reports (GSMArena, Lowyat).
The 13-inch IPS LCD screen is about 5 % smaller than the screen of the 13-inch iPad Pro. Its 2880 × 1840 pixels give a format close to 16:10, a wide format made for videos. At 263 ppi it is sharp, and it runs at up to 144 Hz. Honor gives 700 nits peak brightness, 10-bit color and the full DCI-P3 color range; these are Honor’s figures, not measurements.
The Snapdragon 888 was a flagship chip in 2021; today it is closer to an upper mid-range chip. There are 8, 12 or 16 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of storage, with no microSD slot (GSMArena). The tablet runs MagicOS 7.2 (Android 13), a Chinese system without Google services (no Play Store). Honor has published no update policy, and HD playback on Netflix and Prime Video (Widevine L1) is unconfirmed.
The Magic-Pencil 3 (4,096 pressure levels) and the Smart Touch Keyboard are sold separately; the keyboard attaches with magnets and pogo pins, has a glass touchpad and needs no Bluetooth. The 10,050 mAh battery charges at 66 W; Honor gives no runtime. The tablet weighs 660 g (673 g with a PU-leather back) and is 6.49 mm thin. It has eight speakers, Wi-Fi 6 and one USB-C 3.2 port with 4K video output, but no headphone jack and no cellular option.
Launch prices in China ranged from ¥2,999 (8/256 GB) to ¥3,699 (16/512 GB). Outside China the tablet is only sold by import shops or used, without Google services and without an official warranty.

Performance

The Honor MagicPad 13 is powered by the relatively old Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, released in 2020 and built on a 5 nm process. It is a mid-range chip, fast enough for multitasking, drawing apps and most games; only the most demanding games and video editing will push it to its limits. Compared with other large tablets:
- The Apple M5 in the Apple iPad Pro 13″ (M5) is about 4.5 times faster.
- The MediaTek Dimensity 8300 in the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro is about 30 % faster.
- The Honor MagicPad 13 is about 80 % faster than the Meswao MES-B3 (Pro) and its MediaTek Helio G99.
Brightness

The screen of the Honor MagicPad 13 reaches 700 nits at its peak (HDR content only), which is bright: enough for bright rooms and for outdoor use in the shade, even in the summer.
