Overview
The FMV LOOX is a 13.3-inch Windows 11 tablet from Fujitsu Client Computing (FCCL), sold only in Japan since June 2022. It is very thin and light: 7.2 mm and 599 g. Reviewers liked it as a portable PC: PC Watch found it fast for its weight, and mybest ranked it first among Windows tablets. An illustrator who reviewed it for ITmedia found it good for general use, but not a first choice for drawing.
The OLED touchscreen is about 7 % smaller than that of the 13-inch iPad Pro. Its 16:9 format is a wide format made for videos, and 1920 × 1080 pixels (166 ppi) are not very sharp at this size. It shows very wide colors (98 % of Adobe RGB measured by ASCII), but PC Watch measured only 385 nits, and the glass is glossy.
The 12th-generation Intel Core i7-1250U (16 GB of RAM) or Core i5-1230U (8 GB) needs no fan, so the tablet is silent; PC Watch and ITmedia found it quick for a fanless tablet. Under load the back gets hot: ITmedia measured about 46 °C near the processor after an hour of drawing.
A stand is in the box; the keyboard (¥21,780 at FCCL) and the Wacom-based FMV LOOX Pen cost extra. ITmedia liked the pen’s light touch and low delay, but on its unit, lines appeared offset for right-handed drawing. The keyboard is comfortable (PC Watch, ITmedia); with stand and keyboard it weighs about 1,030 g. The 35 Wh battery lasted about 9 hours in light use (mybest, PC Watch) and about 4 hours of drawing (ITmedia). Both USB-C ports (one Thunderbolt 4) are on the left; there is no headphone jack.
Launch prices were ¥219,780 (Core i7) and ¥181,280 (Core i5). In October 2026 a few Japanese shops still sell new units from about ¥80,000 (kakaku.com). Elsewhere it must be imported, with a Japanese keyboard and a warranty valid only in Japan.
Pros
- Very light (599 g) and thin (7.2 mm)
- OLED screen with very wide colors (96–98 % Adobe RGB measured)
- Quick despite its silent, fanless design
- Comfortable optional keyboard (19 mm key pitch)
- About 9 h of light use in battery tests
- Thunderbolt 4 port plus a second USB-C port
Cons
- Gets hot under load (about 46 °C measured)
- Only Full HD (166 ppi) in a wide 16:9 format
- Moderate brightness (385 nits measured)
- Keyboard and pen cost extra; the stand is not built in
- Japan only; older model (2022)
Performance

The Fujitsu (FCCL) FMV LOOX is powered by the relatively old Intel Core i5-1230U processor, released in 2022 and built on a 10 nm process. It is a fast chip: demanding games, large drawings and video editing run smoothly. Compared with other large tablets:
- The Apple M5 in the Apple iPad Pro 13″ (M5) is about twice as fast.
- The MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ in the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is about 20 % faster.
- The Fujitsu (FCCL) FMV LOOX is about 3.5 times faster than the Meswao MES-B3 (Pro) and its MediaTek Helio G99.
Brightness

The screen of the Fujitsu (FCCL) FMV LOOX reaches 385 nits measured by PC Watch, which is enough indoors, but not for outdoor use in the summer (600 nits is the minimum).
