The Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable is a 13-inch Windows business tablet from 2021, the predecessor of the Latitude 7350 Detachable. Like a Surface Pro, it has a built-in kickstand, a magnetic keyboard with a touchpad and an active pen. Reviewers liked it: Notebookcheck gave it 88 % and called it a better Surface Pro 7, and Laptop Mag and PCWorld gave it an Editors’ Choice. It is discontinued and now sold refurbished or used.

The screen has 1920 × 1280 pixels (178 ppi) in a 3:2 format, taller and closer to a sheet of paper, better for documents. With the same diagonal as the 13-inch iPad Pro, it is about 4 % smaller in area. Notebookcheck measured 504 nits and full sRGB color, ITPro 455 nits. Despite an anti-reflective coating, it is hard to read in direct sun (Notebookcheck).

The 12-watt 11th-generation Intel Core i5 and i7 chips are fine for office work, but Notebookcheck and HotHardware found their multi-core speed limited. It has 4 to 16 GB of memory, an SSD of up to 1 TB that can be replaced, and it runs all Windows programs.

In the US the keyboard ($199) and the pen ($69) were sold separately; in Germany and the UK they were often included. The keyboard stores and charges the pen, but the kickstand wobbles and the tablet is unstable on the lap (Laptop Mag, Notebookcheck, HotHardware). Laptop Mag measured 9 hours 18 minutes of web browsing, HotHardware about 6 hours of video. Notebookcheck weighed 782 g, or 1,124 g with the keyboard. The 1080p front camera with face login is very good, but the speakers sound thin and harsh (Laptop Mag, ITPro). There are two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a headphone jack, a fingerprint reader and optional 4G LTE, but no USB-A port or card reader.

At launch it cost from $1,549 in the US (Core i3, without keyboard and pen) and about €1,700 in Germany with the accessories.

The Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable is powered by the relatively old Intel Core i7-1180G7 processor, released in 2021 and built on a 10 nm process. It is a mid-range chip, fast enough for multitasking, drawing apps and most games; only the most demanding games and video editing will push it to its limits. Compared with other large tablets:

• The Apple M5 in the Apple iPad Pro 13″ (M5) is about 2.5 times faster.
• The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus is about 20 % faster.
• The Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable is about 3 times faster than the Meswao MES-B3 (Pro) and its MediaTek Helio G99.

The screen of the Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable reaches 500 nits according to Dell, which is enough indoors, but not for outdoor use in the summer (600 nits is the minimum). Notebookcheck measured 504 nits.
