Overview
The Iconia Duo S14 is Acer’s most upmarket Android tablet, with a 14.2-inch OLED screen, for office work, videos and creative apps. Acer announced it on May 29, 2026. There is no independent review yet: launch articles repeat Acer’s specifications; Gizmodo praised its many ports.
The screen is about 13 % larger than the screen of the 13-inch iPad Pro. Acer calls it 3:2, but its 2880 × 1840 pixels give a format between 3:2 and 16:10: a little taller than a widescreen tablet, which suits documents. The OLED panel is sharp (241 ppi) and runs at 120 Hz. Acer rates it at only 400 nits, weak outdoors; nobody has measured it yet. Acer offers anti-glare nano-texture glass only on the smaller Duo S12, so the S14 is probably glossy.
The MediaTek Dimensity 8300 is an upper mid-range chip: faster than budget tablet chips, below the flagship chips of Samsung or OnePlus. It comes with 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage and a microSD slot (up to 1 TB). The tablet runs Android 16 with Google Play. Acer publishes no update policy and does not say whether it has Widevine L1 (HD on Netflix and Prime Video).
The keyboard, the stylus and a magnetic kickstand are optional extras. The 10,000 mAh (38 Wh) battery is rated for up to 10 hours and charges at a modest 20 W. The tablet is 6.2 mm thin and weighs 730 g. Its two USB-C ports carry DisplayPort video in both directions: it can drive a monitor or serve as a laptop’s second screen. It also has four speakers, a fingerprint reader and Wi-Fi 6E.
Acer planned sales in North America for September 2026 and in Europe for the third quarter (Acer). In mid-September it was not yet in shops (Android Headlines), and Acer still gives no price. At the launch, Yanko Design and Minimachines reported $699 in the US, a figure Acer has not confirmed.

Performance

The Acer Iconia Duo S14 is powered by the relatively old MediaTek Dimensity 8300 processor, released in 2023 and built on a 4 nm process. It is a mid-range chip, fast enough for multitasking, drawing apps and most games; only the most demanding games and video editing will push it to its limits. The same chip is used in the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro. Compared with other large tablets:
- The Apple M5 in the Apple iPad Pro 13″ (M5) is about 3.5 times faster.
- The MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ in the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is about 80 % faster.
- The Acer Iconia Duo S14 is about 2.5 times faster than the Meswao MES-B3 (Pro) and its MediaTek Helio G99.
Brightness

The screen of the Acer Iconia Duo S14 reaches 400 nits according to Acer, which is enough indoors, but not for outdoor use in the summer (600 nits is the minimum).
