Overview
Iris Ohyama, a large Japanese home-appliance maker, launched the LUCA Wireless Charging Tablet 15.6inch (model TM15F1Q74-V1H) in Japan in September 2026. It is a big screen for the home: a magnet in its back holds it on optional accessories, a wireless charging stand and a ring that works as a handle, a stand or a wall hook. No independent review has been published yet, so the details below come from Iris Ohyama’s announcement, as reported by Notebookcheck and ITmedia.
The 15.6-inch LCD is about 28 % larger than the screen of the 13-inch iPad Pro. Its 16:9 format is a wide format made for videos. With only 1920 × 1080 pixels (141 ppi), it is not sharp at this size. Iris Ohyama gives no brightness figure and mentions no anti-glare finish. Widevine L1 allows HD streaming on Netflix and Prime Video.
The Unisoc T620 is an entry-level chip. It comes with only 4 GB of RAM (plus 4 GB of “virtual” memory taken from the storage) and 128 GB of storage, with a microSD slot for cards up to 512 GB. The tablet runs Android 16; Iris Ohyama publishes no update policy.
There is no keyboard and no stylus. The 8,000 mAh battery charges at up to 18 W through USB-C (USB 2.0), or at 15 W on the magnetic stand; Iris Ohyama gives no battery runtime. The tablet weighs 1,083 g and is 10.1 mm thick. According to Notebookcheck, it has a single speaker. It also has a headphone jack, 8 MP cameras with autofocus on both sides, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0, but no 4G.
It is sold only in Japan: on the Iris Plaza online store since September 15 and in electronics shops since September 24, 2026, at an open price (no list price). Notebookcheck converts the shop price to about €400 (Iris Ohyama).

Performance

The Iris Ohyama LUCA Tablet 15.6 is powered by the Unisoc T620 processor, released in 2024 and built on a 12 nm process. It is an entry-level chip: fine for videos, web browsing, reading and taking notes, but apps open slowly and games have to run at low settings. The same chip is used in the Teclast T65 / T65 Plus and the Blackview Mega 8. Compared with other large tablets:
- The Apple M5 in the Apple iPad Pro 13″ (M5) is about 10 times faster.
- The MediaTek Helio G100 in the Doogee Tab E3 Max is about 20 % faster.
Size compared with the iPad Pro and a sheet of paper
